Local serving officer Lt Col Julian Carmichael along with the Deputy Mayor of Bracknell Forest Council Councillor Chris Turrell and BAFD Chairman Councillor Chas Baily presented the Veterans Lapel Badges. Standards from the Royal Naval Association (RNA), carried by Bob Privett and the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA), carried by Gillian Parker - provided the perfect setting for the proud veterans to recieve their badges.

Chas Baily, BAFD Chairman stated 'The Bracknell Armed Forces Day Committee are happy to arrange for similar presentations within the Bracknell Borough as many veterans go unnoticed. The Veterans Lapel Badge is an ideal token for veterans to proudly wear with civilian clothes'
